  1. Barbara J. Zakheim, President
    Barbara Zakheim

    Trained at Oxford University as a policy and economic analyst, Barbara has over 30 years experience developing business in the Federal government market. She has been responsible for the marketing, winning and management of Federal contracts ranging in size from several thousands of dollars to multi-million awards.

    As Chief Operating Officer of a small business government contractor, Barbara managed a multi-divisional enterprise with an interdisciplinary staff on a variety of environmental, public health, field and laboratory, technology transfer, training, and information management contracts supporting the EPA, the DOD, the DOE, and the NRC.

    When not serving your business needs, Barbara volunteers for several nonprofits, including a local organization supporting victims of domestic abuse which she founded.

  1. Barbara Carlee, Senior Consultant
    Barbara Carlee

    After earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration from George Washington University, Barbara began a successful 26 year career with Bell Atlantic, developing business and winning multi-million dollar contracts with some of the firm's largest government, commercial and wholesale clients. During this time she also earned an MBA from Averett University.

    As Vice President for Business Development at the Northridge Group, Barbara spent nearly 4 years providing a range of comprehensive Federal business development support. Her activities there included: strategic planning, networking with Federal agencies and prime contractors, and supporting development of marketing materials - including capabilities statements and proposal development. Among her successes at Northridge, Barbara includes wins with the Departments of Energy and the US Treasury, as well as several successful GSA schedule submissions.

  1. Robert Ehrhardt
    Robert F. Ehrhardt, Senior Consultant

    Robert earned his M.A. in Public Policy from the George Washington University School of Public & International Affairs and began his professional career as a Staff Associate at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC.

    In successive assignments with consulting firms in the Washington area he was responsible for securing over $2M in contract funding from Federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Interior, and Energy as well as private industry and trade associations. He managed contracts involving environmental impact assessments, natural resource management, water supply feasibility studies, and energy technology evaluations, as well as regulatory impact analyses and management program development projects.

    Robert also completed a successful fourteen year career with the General Electric Company as a Senior Policy Manager at GE Corporate headquarters in Fairfield, CT. His GE assignments included serving as a liaison between GE businesses and a variety of industry trade associations in Washington, DC. He also was a reviewer for grant proposals submitted to the GE Foundation for funding.

  1. Michelle Mehler
    Michelle Mehler, Senior Consultant

    Michelle received her BA in Political Science from Kennesaw State University, Minor in Criminal Justice. She holds a secret clearance and has been working in the field of sales and marketing for over 15 years. She has served as a Resource Manager and Business Development Consultant for a Consulting, Coaching, and Training firm in the Washington, DC area since 2004 and is a member of the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc.

    Michelle provides support in crafting and managing proposal development efforts for million dollar budgets and diversified resources for multi-year, multi-faceted federal government clients. She has successfully submitted two five-year extensions of a GSA MOBIS Schedule and has extensive experience in coordinating successful project teams and client initiatives.
