Robert F. Ehrhardt, Consultant
Robert earned his M.A. in Public Policy from the George Washington University School of Public & International Affairs and began his professional career as a Staff Associate at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC.
In successive assignments with consulting firms in the Washington area he was responsible for securing over $2M in contract funding from Federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Interior, and Energy as well as private industry and trade associations. He managed contracts involving environmental impact assessments, natural resource management, water supply feasibility studies, and energy technology evaluations, as well as regulatory impact analyses and management program development projects.
Robert also completed a successful fourteen year career with the General Electric Company as a Senior Policy Manager at GE Corporate headquarters in Fairfield, CT. His GE assignments included serving as a liaison between GE businesses and a variety of industry trade associations in Washington, DC. He also was a reviewer for grant proposals submitted to the GE Foundation for funding.
Robert supports Keith R. Scott's west coast operations located in Goleta, CA where he recently completed a program review for the U.S. Veterans Administration.
Barbara J. Zakheim, President
Trained at Oxford University as a policy and economic analyst, Barbara has over 25 years experience developing business in the Federal government market. She has been responsible for the marketing, winning and management of Federal contracts ranging in size from several thousands of dollars to multi-million awards.
As Chief Operating Officer of a small business government contractor, Barbara managed a multi-divisional enterprise with an interdisciplinary staff on a variety of environmental, public health, field and laboratory, technology transfer, training, and information management contracts supporting the EPA, the DOD, the DOE, and the NRC.
When not serving your business needs, Barbara volunteers for several nonprofits, including a local organization supporting victims of domestic abuse which she founded.
